'''Editor-in-Chief of LovedForever.org.nz'''

I am the Editor-in-Chief of [[Main Page|LovedForever]], a digital memorial wiki dedicated to preserving and sharing the lives, stories, memories, and family histories of people from all walks of life.

== About LovedForever ==

LovedForever is built on a simple belief:

'''Every Life Deserves to Be Remembered.'''

Wikipedia has created a place where people can learn about many notable people and important events. LovedForever extends a similar idea to everyday people — because every person has a life, a story, a family, and memories worth preserving.

LovedForever provides a place where families, friends, and communities can create and contribute to memorial pages, preserve photographs and stories, build family connections, and keep memories available for future generations.

== My Role ==

As Editor-in-Chief, I am responsible for the overall editorial direction and content standards of LovedForever.

My responsibilities include:

* Overseeing the editorial direction of LovedForever
* Developing and maintaining editorial standards and guidelines
* Supporting the quality, consistency, and accuracy of content
* Reviewing and improving important platform content
* Supporting families and contributors
* Helping maintain a respectful and welcoming environment
* Protecting the dignity and privacy of memorialised individuals
* Working with administrators, contributors, families, and partners to improve LovedForever
* Helping develop the long-term vision and structure of the platform

== Editorial Principles ==

LovedForever aims to maintain a respectful, accurate, and meaningful environment for everyone.

Our editorial principles include:

* '''Respect:''' Every person and every family should be treated with dignity and respect.
* '''Accuracy:''' Information should be contributed in good faith and, where appropriate, supported by reliable sources or family knowledge.
* '''Privacy:''' Personal information should be handled carefully and shared according to the wishes of families and individuals.
* '''Dignity:''' Memorial pages should honour the life and memory of the person being remembered.
* '''Inclusiveness:''' People from all backgrounds, cultures, beliefs, and communities are welcome.
* '''Collaboration:''' Families, friends, and contributors can work together to preserve memories and stories.
* '''Long-term preservation:''' LovedForever aims to preserve meaningful memories for future generations.

== Contributions ==

The LovedForever community may contribute to memorial pages, including:

* Life stories
* Family histories
* Photographs
* Videos
* Stories and memories
* Tributes
* Family connections
* Timelines
* Cemetery information
* Memorial information
* Other meaningful contributions relating to a person's life

Contributors are encouraged to provide information respectfully and to consider the wishes of the person's family when adding or changing content.

== Working With Families ==

LovedForever recognises that memorial pages are often deeply personal to families.

Families may contribute information, photographs, stories, and memories about their loved ones. Where appropriate, families may also help manage and maintain their loved one's memorial page.

The goal is not simply to create a page, but to create a lasting place where a person's life and legacy can be remembered.

== Our Vision ==

LovedForever aims to become a long-term digital memorial platform where people can:

* Remember loved ones
* Preserve family stories
* Connect generations
* Build family histories
* Share photographs and memories
* Honour the lives of those who have passed away
* Create a lasting digital legacy for future generations

'''Remember Life. Preserve Memories. Connect Families. Pass Down Legacy.'''
